: Dr. Jennifer Lyons: Animating the Virgin Mary in Representations of the Theophilus Legend

Dr. Lyons obtained her Ph.D. in 2016 from Emory University, with a dissertation entitled Crafting Marian Devotion: The Representation of the Theophilus Legend in Northern Europe, 9th-14th c. She is a specialist in medieval French art and architecture and has received numerous scholarships during her doctoral studies.
